Dancing With Ana http://www.dancingwithana.com Tue, 15 May 2012 19:12:41 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 I’m back! http://www.dancingwithana.com/2012/05/im-back/ http://www.dancingwithana.com/2012/05/im-back/#comments Tue, 15 May 2012 19:06:56 +0000 nb http://www.dancingwithana.com/?p=308 Hey friends!  So yes, I disappeared for awhile.  I went and had myself another baby, and somehow lost the last two, maybe three years of my life!  Seriously though, I popped up pregnant with my third and the pregnancy hit a risky stage where I had to make a decision, baby or book.  I had to think about it…  I’m kidding, I’m kidding, of course I chose the baby!  So I kind of went into intense mommy mode to make sure the little guy made it into the world okay, which he did, thank God.  When I had my first child at twenty-six, I bounced right back into my old life within weeks.  Same thing happened when I had my second child at thirty, bounced right back.  Well, at forty-one, not so much bounce.  I struggled physically, mentally and emotionally for a solid year before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.  What I thought was normal “new mom” exhaustion was actually Hashimoto’s Disease attacking my poor thyroid.  Once I was put on Synthroid, I began to feel like myself again.  It took another year to bounce back, but I did it, and here I am!  I’m excited to be writing again.  In fact, the sequel to Dancing With Ana is just pouring out of me.  During nap time, of course.  I’m also back in the marketing game and am really looking forward to seeing how far we can take Ana.  All in all, I have no complaints.  I was blessed with another beautiful baby, Ana is humming along, and the sequel is alive and kicking!  It’s good to be back.
