Jeremy

So there has to be a love story, right?  Prince/princess, hero/heroine, good girl/bad boy, etc.  Hmmm…

What about best friends?  What about a boy and a girl that have been friends their entire lives, living across the street from each other since they were babies, but are just now really seeing each other?  That was definitely something I wanted to explore.

In walks Jeremy.  A seventeen year-old young man who, I have to admit, I adore.  He is a consistent force within the spiraling chaos of Beth’s existence.  His patience and concern never waver as she simultaneously clings to him and runs away from him.  As the deep love for his childhood friend combines with the growing passion he feels for the young woman she’s become, he can’t help but offer her the most profound gift there ever was…unconditional love.

I chose the name Jeremy mainly because I never dated a Jeremy.  This allowed me to create a male lead without any preconceived notions.  A clean slate, if you will.

I have to say, I really, really enjoyed my time with him.
